What you may post
A report describes a stay or a lounge visit in the person’s own words. It is not a booking, a benefit guarantee, or advice from a loyalty program.
License to publish
You keep the copyright in everything you submit to Elite Insider: stay reports, lounge reports, ratings, comments and similar content ("your content").
By submitting your content, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display and reproduce it on elite-insider.com and in our newsletters and RSS feeds. The licence also lets us show excerpts of your content on hotel, city and news pages, include it in aggregated statistics (for example, "2 of 3 Platinum guests received a suite upgrade"), and make minor edits for formatting, length or to remove personal data. We will not change the meaning of your report.
Because the licence is non-exclusive, you are free to publish your content anywhere else as well.
The licence lasts until you delete your content or your account. When you delete your account, we anonymise your reports by default. Anonymised reports stay published without your name or email, so that ratings and statistics remain accurate. If you want your reports removed completely, choose that option when deleting your account or contact us.
By submitting content, you confirm that:
it is based on your own stay or visit, you hold the rights to it, and it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law, including privacy rights. For example, it must not name hotel staff by their full name without their consent. We may remove or refuse content that breaks these Terms or the law. We are not required to publish any content.
Moderation and removal
New reports stay unpublished until the email is confirmed and a moderator approves them. A moderator can hide a report. Hiding records a statement of reasons and, when an email is on file, sends that statement to the author. Anyone can file a notice with the Report button. The operator can also remove content that breaks these rules.
